Selection of photographs in the possession of Amos G. Avery taken between the years of 1926-42. The majority of the photographs were taken in the 1930’s. This collection includes 129 unsorted photographs, approximately 75 negatives, and 3 scrapbooks.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

This Sub-Series is comprised of black and white negatives (35mm, 120, and 4x5 films) and color and sepia 35mm slides. A binder of numbered slides (# 1-666) was rehoused into folders. Others slides were from various presentations or possibly figures from articles, manuscripts and/or experiments. Some copies of historic images of CSHL lab buildings and people. Largely unlabeled.
