Scope and Contents
This series contains material that belonged to Francis Crick, but was stored with Sydney Brenner's papers after Crick left MRC. The material is divided into 8 subseries: Correspondence, Candidates/Recommendations, Subjects, Photographs, Writings - By Crick, Manuscripts - By Others, Reprints, and Scientific Notes. Of note is a series of correspondence between Crick and Maurice Wilkins dating from the discovery of the Double Helix structure (Correspondence subseries), and a rolled document with sketches of base pairs that contributed Crick's "wobble hypothesis" (Scientific Notes suberies).
