Neville Dyson-Hudson was the husband of Rada Demerec, who was the daughter of Milislav Demerec. Milislav Demerec was Director of the Department of Genetics of the Carnegie Institution of Washington from 1943 to 1960. From 1941 he was also Director of the neighboring Biological Laboratory of the Long Island Biological Association, which was later renamed the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory of Quantitative Biology.
